Bus tours start and end in Saranda. City tours and trekking start and end in Saranda, or Gjirokastra, or Lunxheria depending on the program. We do not provide transport for individual clients from towns on the Albanian Riviera.

The tours are conducted by an English-speaking guide with the necessary courses and qualifications accredited by the Albanian Ministry of Tourism.

You will choose the meeting point and time when booking. This information is also included in the description of each program.

Payment for tours can be made directly on the bus – in cash – Euros or Albanian Lek.

Of course. It is possible to organize a VIP trip only for your family and friends, if there are at least 10 of you. In this case, write to office@thereinalbania.com or WhatsApp +355 684 82 6184

Yes, if there are no lower prices at the moment resulting from, for example, special promotions, a discount is possible for groups of more than 15 people. Such a discount cannot be combined with other promotions.

Days and times of tours are subject to change based on availability. You can also change to another tour if there are available places. In any such situation, please contact us in advance by writing to office@thereinalbania.com

We do not charge any cancellation fees. However, please let us know in advance.

We always wait for latecomers for five minutes at the meeting point. We also contact them by phone and if the person does not pick up, does not make contact and does not show up at the meeting, we leave. We ask that you contact us immediately if you know that there will be a delay, but we also point out that we cannot always wait longer than the mentioned 5 minutes.

Due to logistical reasons, we cannot always drive to every hotel/apartment, so the meeting points are in their immediate vicinity, within a few minutes’ walk at most. Check the “Meeting points” tab

We do not make seat reservations, but you can make such a request, e.g. that for health reasons you need a seat in the front. We try to fulfill such requests, but we do not guarantee a reservation.

This doesn’t happen often, although it is possible if there aren’t enough people willing to go on a trip. Another reason is extreme weather conditions.

In the case of trips where the program and outfit can be adjusted to weather conditions, we try not to cancel them. Coach and city tour programs are designed so that we can hide from the rain. The cooking lesson always takes place under a roof. In the case of trekking, out of concern for your safety and well-being, we DO NOT RISK and cancel the trip.

In case of a delay of more than 5 minutes, we try to inform the waiting people by text message. However, if you feel worried, write or call: +355 684 82 6184

Of course, there is enough space for a stroller in the luggage compartments of buses.

It all depends on the tour and the fitness level of the person. We consider each of these cases individually. Please contact us before booking a tour.

The tour leader/guide always checks the number of people in the group and tries to contact those who are missing. However, if you know you are lost, please contact us. The best option is to stop at a characteristic place or enter a restaurant, hotel reception/shop and send us the specific location.

Comfortable shoes are essential. On trips, we walk on uneven terrain and cobbled streets, so the best choice is sports shoes such as “adidas”. We strongly advise against flip-flops and thongs. Headgear is essential – a cap, scarf, hat – which will help avoid sunstroke. Don’t forget about sunscreen. On some trips, a swimsuit, towel and a change of dry clothes will be necessary. For trekking, shoes with hard soles and comfortable clothes that can get dirty are essential.

In Albania, the currency is the Albanian Lek. You can also pay in Euro. Payments in USD are not popular in Albania, but this currency can be exchanged at any exchange office.

Almost all tours include food and entrance fees. However, it is worth having money for souvenirs, drinks or additional attractions.

Many shops and restaurants accept card payments. However, this is not always the case and it is worth having cash on hand.
